Summary:
Reporting to the General Manager, Tourism London Inc., the Manager, Culture and Entertainment Tourism is responsible for advancing culture, entertainment and leisure travel strategies and the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of programs that include culinary, recreation, theatrical, heritage and family entertainment sectors, in addition to assuming responsibility for the marketing, publicity and social media strategy for all sectors within Tourism London.
Qualifications/Experience:
Completion of a Post Secondary Diploma or University Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, Marketing or in a relevant area of study or equivalent combination of education and related professional and lived community experience.
Five to seven years of related experience in the tourism industry, including marketing experience in the culture and entertainment sector as well as management responsibilities.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Compensation/Other Information:
$99,156 – $129,818
This posting is for 1 permanent, full-time position.
Standard hours of work: Monday-Friday from 8:30am – 4:30pm; as noted above this position requires the ability to work outside of the typical business hours as required.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
These hours of work and work arrangement are subject to change in accordance to business requirements.
