About the Role
The Accounting Clerk will support our finance and administrative team. This position involves frequent communication with external business partners (mainly by email) and colleagues, while managing day-to-day financial and clerical tasks. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working with a variety of computer programs.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and issue invoices
Process accounts payable
Review and record staff expenses
Handle government remittances
Support payroll and benefits administration
Qualifications & Skills
Clear, polite, and professional communication skills
Strong attention to detail in a multitasking environment
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to recognize anomalies and seek clarification when needed
Proactive in suggesting improvements and efficiencies
Comfortable using and learning computer systems, including:
Accounting software
Order Entry systems
Microsoft Excel (medium-level proficiency required)
Gmail & Google Drive
Mailchimp
At least 1 year of accounting or clerical experience required
30–44 hours per week. Hybrid position. Location: Central Toronto.
