Our business is growing again and YYZ Travel Group has an immediate opening in its Thornhill office for an experienced Travel IT Support Specialist
This is an in-house position not remote.
As a Travel IT Support Specialist at YYZ Travel Group, you will provide technical support to the agency’s employees and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems, including Sabre Travel Solutions, Client Base, Telephone Systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure. You will troubleshoot issues, provide end-user assistance, and ensure that IT systems are functioning efficiently to support daily business operations.
Daily Duties would Include:
Assist agents with BSP/ Non BSP questions, Exchanges, Refunds
Assist agents with issuing tickets & invoice
Work with Agents to improve the quality and accuracy of invoicing
Maintain Sabre TJR’s, EPR’s, Queues & Sabre Profile
Assist agents with any Sabre issues
Train agents on Sabre functions/ formats & new features
Write and maintain Sabre Scripts as required
Trouble shoot any Sabre / Trams / Client Base Issues
Train Agents on all Client Base & Client Base Online functions
Provide daily support & training with Client Base, Client Base Online, TRAMS & Sabre
Assist agents with any new downloads i.e. Sabre, CB etc.
Run Grasp Data reports as required
Assist onboarding of new staff
Train staff on various products when necessary – Sabre, Client Base etc.
Assist with ad hoc analysis
Support management with streamlining processes and procedures
Liaison between the counsellors and back-end accounting
Participate in Professional development as required
The position is best suited to a flexible, proven multi-tasker, capable of working to deadlines in a fast-paced office environment.
Office hours are Monday to Friday –9:00am to 6:00pm
